Based in the chemistry department of UQAM, the laboratory of Prof. Quaglia opened its doors in September 2023. Our research uses enzyme technology to solve the most urgent societal problems, such as plastic degradation and recycling. Our interests spans from the discovery of new enzymes to their improvement through engineering and their practical application. We have a very collaborative attitude and we would like to hear from you if you want to work with us!
